MOTHER ROAD MARKET ANNOUNCED AS 2024 BEST FOOD HALL BY USA TODAY 10BEST READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS
For the second year in a row, voters chose Mother Road Market as the number one food hall!
Tulsa, OK – April 24, 2024 – Mother Road Market (MRM) has not been shy about celebrations over the last couple of years. From a five year anniversary celebration to a first place award for best food hall in 2023, the popular food hall has been attracting Tulsans and travelers alike to experience a one-of-a-kind dining experience in the heart of the Tulsa Market District. Just over a month ago, MRM was thrilled to learn of their chance to bring home a second title for best food hall from USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards. Voting took place over the last month and Mother Road Market is ecstatic to announce that it was named Best Food Hall for the second year in a row.
“As a nonprofit food hall focused on building community through cooking and eating together, we are thrilled to be voted best food hall by the best fans in the nation ONCE AGAIN!” said Elizabeth Frame Ellison, Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation board chair and Mother Road Market founder. “As we approach Route 66’s centennial, we are so excited to bring national attention to the birthplace of the mother road for the second year in a row!”
This award brings recognition to so many dedicated, local entrepreneurs who share their passion with the incredible Tulsa food scene. Without them, Mother Road Market would not be the community pillar that it is, providing a space for everyone to explore different cuisines, support unique retailers and sip a beer from a local brewery.
Mother Road Road is proud to stand amidst several other local Tulsa attractions that have garnered national attention in 2024 through the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice awards including Gathering Place, that just recently brought home first place for best city park, Philbrook Museum of Art with a second place award for best art museum, Woody Guthrie Center with a fourth place award for best music museum and the Tulsa Arts District with a sixth place award for best arts district.
Mother Road Market is looking forward to celebrating its title for the next year and is encouraging its fans to stay connected for all the upcoming fun from live music to trivia nights to the grand opening of a brand new Route 66-themed 9-hole mini golf course later this year.
