SoBahn 82 Opens Permanent Location Inside Mother Road Market
Tulsa, Okla. | March 6, 2025 - SoBahn 82 is officially serving an authentic Korean American experience inside two-time award winning best food hall, Mother Road Market. A graduate of Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation's (LTFF) Kitchen 66 Fall 2022 Launch Program, Se Yeon Kim has been working tirelessly to bring this cuisine to the Tulsa food scene through pop-ups and has now landed a permanent spot inside the food hall.
"SoBahn 82 exemplifies the true entrepreneurial spirit we support here at LTFF," said Michael McClendon, Chief Operating Officer. "As a business who has journeyed through our entire pipeline, starting with the Kitchen 66 Launch Program, we are so proud of their tremendous growth over the last three years."
Kim and her mother, Chef Sohn, are rekindling a family affair that has spanned many years within the Tulsa community. SoBahn 82 is a testament to the unwavering dedication to educating and diversifying the American palette.
"SoBahn 82 is the culmination of the years of love we received from the customers who stuck around even after the family restaurant closed," said Kim. "Every menu item we serve is my mom and my honest attempt to share our food and culture in a more authentic way."
The menu consists of everything from well-known, pop-up favorites like Korean Fried Chicken and Bibimbap while also incorporating more traditional dishes like Guk (Korean soup) and meat dishes (Jeon, Kalbi, grilled fish) following the seasons.
Customers can support SoBahn 82 Tuesday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m inside Mother Road Market. For more information, follow SoBahn 82 on Instagram and Facebook.
